The Master of Arts in Catechetics and Evangelization will launch in Fall 2014.

Grounded in the documents of the Church, this prospective program will allow you to delve into the beauty of the Deposit of Faith. The pedagogy of God is studied as the foundation of catechetical methodology. You will learn what it means to do effective catechesis that is scriptural, liturgical, and kerygmatic.

Students who receive our Master of Arts in Catechetics and Evangelization will have gained the tools necessary to go forth and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ in a way that is faithful to the Church and advances the Kingdom of God.

This Program is being created to train evangelists who specialize in the work of catechesis.  It is our goal to send forth graduates with a unique combination of theological knowledge, catechetical theory, and practical training prepared for ministry and further education if they choose. Regardless of whether you want to be a Director of Religious Education, RCIA Director, Youth Minister or other diocesan authority, this program is a great fit.

This Program is being designed to make this degree possible for the busy catechists who want to improve their knowledge of Christ and His Church and learn new ways to catechize our world that is in great need of Christ's Truth.
